This Is not right, and until the standard by which woman is Judged is made equally binding upon man, society will never be able to free Itself from this disgraceful evil. We can never have the perfect home, the enjoy ment of sacred bliss or give progeny a noble birth until the church, the lodges and the better element of so ciety array themselves in pronounc ed opposition to this evil, so that the lines of Justice will fall upon all alike, and extend the arms of pro tection, words of encouragement, al tars of true worship and prayers of forgiveness to unfortunate wpmen as well as men.
