Cottage Grove, havi Installed a small sawmill, to re place the one recently burned, on the O. &. 8. K. The plant Is about ready to operate. The power equipment consists of an 80 II. P. Shlrla, of the Shirl amlll, Drain, lias purchased the Mack Mill, near Drain and removed It to Glen dale. The plant will ho ready to operate In its new location about the middle of October. Chambers Lumber Co., Cottage Grove, resumed operations October 1. Iilsston Lumber Compan. Disston. will begin cutting about the first of October.
