Children who are physically unfit must exhibit to the truant officer a certificate of a com petent physician. The penalty Imposed on parents tor nogloctlng to send their children to school is a fine of 5 to $25, 2 to 10 days In the city or county Jail, or both fine and jail sentence. Teachers, principals and all school officers are charged by the new law under a penalty of a fine, with re porting to the truant officer all In formation they have regarding any violation of the school law, and all cases of children who do not attend school. Teachers who fall to obey the law In these respects may be fined from 15 to $20 for each of fense. A MKAKl'KK OK MERIT. Kiigcue Citizens Should Weigh Well 1 his l-.VllH'IICC.
