Manager "Ked" Brown wired Jack Helser yesterday, affering the lad $100 a month and transportation if he would report at Seattle, and Pender left on the next train. Pender is a coming twirler. He is 2 4 years old, unmarried, of excellent habits, and has been Improving year :nfter year.
