A considerable part of the four days' entertainment will consist of these trips. Coming down a steep grndu In tho hills west of UurlliiKnmo at high speed, an au tomobile driven by Miss Ethel Mc Cormuck, and occupied by four other women and two children, all of San Mateo, suddenly swerved from the road as the result of tho broken brakes and plunged slrallght down an embankmutit causing the death of three of the women aud two children and Injuring the other two. The vie tlms of the disaster, the second of Its kind near San Francisco within 4 hours were: Mr. Thomas A. Mc Cormack. her daughters. Mias Clara and Miss Klhel, Mrs. Ira 0. O'Brien and the latter s two Infant children, Miss K. O. McCauley, of San Francisco. Of these seven Miss McCaulley and Miss Kthcl McCormack, .the driver and the only two alive. auspices.
