Christie and Charles Sever son returned to Kugene last night from their mining properties on the Little North Fork of the Willamette river, In the fastnesses of the Cas cade mountains east of Eugene. They have done a lot of work on the prop erties and are now nearly ready for machinery with which to reduce the ore. Dr. Christie today stated that they have very good prospects there.
