He entered a plea of guil ty and woa fined 12 00. J. B. Andrews, one of the men in dicted by the grand Jury since It has been In session, was brought up from Junction City today by Deputy'Sher lff Hammond. He was arraigned this afternoon on tho charge of sell ing liquor. Time for pleading was set for tomorrow at 9 a. m. It is alleged that he sold a pint of liquor to T. E. I'ttlnger on Julv 15. 1907. Allen, of this city. vs. the Weber-Bussell Can nlng Company, of Seattle, to recover money for cherries shipped by the Plaintiff to the defendant, the Jury lust evening returned a verdict for the plaintiff for the full amount sued for. A motion for a new trial wiih filed. In the case of C. P. Houston vs. Sheriff Fred Flsk. to recover person al property, a motion for a non-suit was allowed. Plaintiff was granted sixty days In which to prepare and submit brief. The case of Edwin VanVeehton vs. partners doing busluss ns the Clara Mathes Co., to recover money, was ta ken up this morning.
