Student Volunteers. During the fuurae of the evening Miss Harris gave a very interesting account of rtia organisation and its. work. Miss "Huth Bald?ree met the guests at the door and showed them upstairs. .In the dining room delicious jmuch and wafers were served by Miss Pearl Green. It was a very pleasant af fair. ' On r rlday afternoon a vry unique measuring party was given by the Women's Home Missionary Society of the Methodist church at the Wood man hall. The large room was elab orately decorated with spring flowers, flaga and bunting. Each guest made an offering according to her height, five cents for each foot, and one-half cent for eaeh additional inch. In this way a contribution of thirty-eight dollars was raised. A program of vo cat and instrmental music was fol followed by an extremely interesting and beautiful talk upon the home missionary work by Mrs. Albert Sweetser. Later a very elaborate luncheon was served. The ladles of St. Mary's church and guild will give a silver tea on next Wednesday afternoon, May 6, at the home of Mrs. L. E. Tldball, 266 West 'ienth street. Mrs. Tromp and Miss Bean will entertain with MrB. Tldball.
