He can see that anlrersity teaching must be more ex pensive than primary education, but jast how expensive he cannot esti mate. Neither can he Judge how im portant this more expensive educa tion la to the common schools thein- What, then, is he to do? Follow the advice of Messrs. Palmer and Walker? Certainly not, for these fltntlemen know nothing of Univer sity education, and are examples of the very voters who should be seek ing advice, arid not offering it.
