Oregonian. EXCURSION TO WENOLING A . BIG SUCCESS Over two hundred people went on the excursion to Wendllng und back today, the occasion being the Inaug uration of the passenger train service between this city and Wendllng. The train left here about 7:15 o'clock, it being late on account of the rush at the ticket wlndow.and reached Wend llng about on schedule time. An hour was spent by 'the excursionists look ing through the big sawmill of the Booth-Kelly Company and viewing sights of the lumbering town. The train arrived ln Eugene again about noon, bringing most of the excur sionists home well pleased with the trip. Some or them remained at Wendllng for the afternoon train, which Is scheduled to reach Eugene at 6:40. The excursionists going up filled three coaches and a "dummy" coach and many had to stand up. More neoole than were expected took ad vantage of the occasion to visit the sawmill towns. 1)1 KD. At his residence on Fourth streot.
