The primary cause for this action 1b the disregard on several occasions by the members of the athletic teams or orders and Instructions of the faculty. Last mouth four members of the track team went to Portland and took part In the Columbia fleld meet In dlreot disobedience to the faculty's orders. The boys wore suspended for a time, being reinstated only a few days ago. The patience of the faculty . and board of directors has been soroly tried aud as a punishment and a lea son to them the athletes have been thus restricted. Naturally much dissatisfaction expressed bv members of the various nthlotic bodies of the high school, es peoiniiy the track team, at the board's nummary action.
