Speolal to the Guard. Dennison. Texas. August 13. Five desperate men held up a train near Atoba today with a fusilade of shots. They searched all the passengers, who were badly frightened, dynamited the express safes and took the contents. Special to the Guard. Silverton Or, Aug 13. Yesterday afternoon train No 15 on tbe Wood- burn-SurlngSeld branch was wrecked on HorseebC3 Bend, one mile south of Sbaw station. The wreok was caused by a defeotlve cuttle guard. No one was Injured. Both branob trains were delayed seven hours. The wreck was cleaned up at 7 p m.
