At the Theatre. 'For Revenue Only" produced by tbe Shaw Company last nlgbt was another winner. A comedy, Its bumor Ib Irresistible, and the exaggerated characters were all taken from present life. Wat son is a typical tough boy, L. J. Plund er made all that was possible out of tbe old salt character, while tbe other male parts were well taken. MIbb Lolee Carter and MIbb Vernie Castro fulfill every requirement of their parts. Besides this they are handsome women and display some fetching costumes, which make their appearance on tbe stage an attraction. Nellie Maine Shaw does fine character work, ap pearing as tbe woman politician last night. Rose Emerson did tbe Irish servant girl part very satisfactorily. Of Shaw himself, nothing can be said tbat Ib not to bis credit. With him on the stage the play has a smooth ness and flulsti that Is pleasing, for his work Is so natural that one does not think ot It as acting, merely the expression of Ideas and life through natural ohannels, Messrs Dan'l Doutherty and Billie Bond did an Irish character specialty between the first and second auls.
