'For Revenue Only" produced by
tbe Shaw Company last nlgbt was
another winner. A comedy, Its bumor
Ib Irresistible, and the exaggerated
characters were all taken from present
life. That the company Is moBt capa
ble, every aolor doing creditable work,
was more pateut than ever In this per
formance. H. W. Gilbert and Al H.
Hallett had pleasing parte, Al J. Wat
son is a typical tough boy, L. J. Plund
er made all that was possible out of tbe
old salt character, while tbe other
male parts were well taken. MIbb
Lolee Carter and MIbb Vernie Castro
fulfill every requirement of their parts.
Besides this they are handsome women
and display some fetching costumes,
which make their appearance on tbe
stage an attraction. Nellie Maine
Shaw does fine character work, ap
pearing as tbe woman politician last
night. Rose Emerson did tbe Irish
servant girl part very satisfactorily. Of
Shaw himself, nothing can be said
tbat Ib not to bis credit. With him
on the stage the play has a smooth
ness and flulsti that Is pleasing, for
his work Is so natural that one does
not think ot It as acting, merely the
expression of Ideas and life through
natural ohannels,
Messrs Dan'l Doutherty and Billie
Bond did an Irish character specialty
between the first and second auls.
Their danolng was fine and well
received. Tbe orobestra continues to
be highly appreciated, Its numbers be
ing from tbe best composers and tbe
arias from popular opeia are a special
feature. Tbe band will parade at 2

. Wireless Telegraphy
Tbe recent wonderful accomplish
ments in wireless telegraphy bring to
mind forcibly the value of electricity,
It is probable that much work will be
saved by means of this subtle fluid.
There is no limit to Its possibilities.
Applied to material objects, It causes
them to move as with life, while
without it the human body cannot be
strong aud healthy. Tbe best means
of filling the body with vitality is by
the use of Hosteller's Stomach
Bitters. Lack of life In the stomach
cauaes Indigestion, dyspepsia, constipa
tion, biliousness and malaria. Any of
these symptoms means the Bitters Is
needed at once. Just now, when the
seasons are so variable, and a regular
dose will keep the bowels active and
healthy,
