J W Stewart, of Springfield, was in the city this morning and Identified a number of articles found In possession of the man, Tulk, brought here yester day from Corvallis by Constable Llu ton on the charge of stealing a boat, as goods that had been stolen from his store a short time since. Among the articles Identified was an umbrella, i pair of shoes and two hats. Tulk when captured, had on a belt contain ing a revolver and a bowie knife. He also carried a very fine skeleton key, which would opeu almost any door. Mr. Sachs lias completed and sent ,.i,.iit onus to different parti of the country as samples, and has a great many more partly constructed. Every part of the guns, the stock included, is turned out at tlie factory, the material being obtained iu the crude form. When placed on the market they will retail at $35 and $50. Mahkied.
