The three hundred Shrin- ers on their pilgrimage from Portland to Eugene today- held up the train of E. H. Harriman, the great railroad magnate, and forced him to alight and speak to the Shriners. The holdup occur red on a siding and was ac complished by the aid of a Chinese flag and the Arab Patrol. Harriman donned a fez of Al Kader temple and shook hands with many men. After the Shrners had cheer ed the railroad official and as his train started, Harriman stood on the rear platform and said: "Now give three cheers for J. P. O’Brien."
