Plaintiff was granted sixty days in which to prepare and submit brief. The case of Edwin VanVechten vs. partners doing businss as the Clara Mathes Co., to recover money, was ta ken up this morning. This ease has be<-n in court for several years. The Clara Mathes Company Is a theatrical aggregation which appeared in Eu gene a number of years ago. Van Vechten wps a member of the troupe and sued the company while it was here for about $400, alleged to be due in wages. The evidence was In troduced from depositions.
