Upwards of 3000 women Saturday engaged in one of the fiercest bargain riots that the Brooklyn police have ever been called upon to quell. So great waa the crush from those who were struggling to be among the first to gain entrance, that scores of women fell In a faint and were trampled by women who followed. Police reserves were called out to quell the riot. Mounted men rode through the crowd, and by using their clubs were finally able to force the women back.
