The question of the validity of the state law which provides that licenses for fishing in the Columbia river shall bp issued only to cititens of the United States will be tested in the courts, it is reported at Astoria. Attorneys have been employed to bring court action, but what the nature of the suit will be has not been announced. It is un derstood, however, that the constitu tionality of the act will be attacked on the ground that it is class legiala ion.
