Rothette't Bonnie When Rochette's Bonnie complet ed her Register of Merit record of 17,382.1 lbs of milk, containing 943.12 pounds of fat, she became the highest yearly record cow that has been imported from the Island of Jersey to America. Her record exceeds that of the former holder of this honor by some ton pounds of fut. This record was previously held by none other than her own half sister, Rochette's Princess, who made a record of 933.33 lbs of fut: Age tn. nio. On her first dav in milk she produced some 32 lbs. of milk, but rose rapidly and by June 1st had passed the 60 lb. mark. reaching hen maximum flow on July 1st on which day she yielded 68.6 lbs of milk. Kochette's Bonnie's first daughter in milk is now on Register of Merit test begun at 2 years, 1 month old and has milked as high as 36 pounds of milk in one dav. This heifer is an exceptionally fine show cow as well a producer. Another World't Record ureatasis the record of Ro- chette's Bonnie, she is by no means the only great cow in the Fair Acres herd. Diamond of Fair Acres, a heifer bred on the farm has recently com pleted a record that makes her the World's Champion Junior three year old Jersey for Milk Production and 2nd in the class for fat. Her production of 17,373 lbs. of milk exceeds by more than one ton the former highest yield for her are and is the 10th highest yield ever made by any Jersey cow of any aire. Her yield of 831. 79 pounds of fat is the second highest yield in the Junior three year old class and is exceeded only by that of Vive La France who also holds the senior Four year old and World's record. all ages, for the Jersey breed. The best daily yield credited to - Diamond was made on August 8th on which date she produced 62.8 pounds of milk, being then in milk 1 1 0 days. Diamond of Fair Acres was sired by the imported bull Di amond's Tinel Draconis who was of Raleigh Financial King, breeding, having been sired hv Drm-nnioa nf Staviors. who was hv Mnhl' Raleigh, and out of Draconis 7th. who was said to be one of the three beat daughters of Financial Kinir. Diamond's Lord Draconis, also sired Moyane of Fair Acres with a record of 471 pounds of fat as a 3 year old and has a large number of other good daughters. . Now owned by Oonnell Bros, of Shedd, Oregon. resented at the Oroeon State Finl and a number of the other leading Northwest shws this fall.
