The School Superintendent II.
C. Seymour and a Medical School
Inspector, from New York, gave
our school a whirl-wind call last
lhursuay. It she is inspecting
the schools all over the state in
the same manner that she did
this one, the State Supt. or who
ever is imposing her august per
son on the intelligent people and
tax payers of the state, would do
well to let her return to graft
ridden New York where she be
longs. We were all glad to assemble
back to the old school house
Monday the fifth and put our
pleasures away and take up our
studies once more.
The pupils seem to appreciate
the milk tester, judging from
the amount of milk being tested.
Two days were required to test
the milk brought in last week.

Rev. Mummy, the Presiding

Dallas Is To Have A Large New
Hospital
Dallas: Or.. Jan. 10. -The
annual stockholders' meeting of
the Dallas Hospital Association,
held this week, elected the follow
ing board of directors: F. J.
Coad. Oscar Hayter, Dr. E. H.
McCallon, D. A. B. Starbuck,
Dr. V. C. Staats, Dr. L. A.
P-ollman and Dr. W. S. Carv.
The board organized by electing
F. J. Coad, president; Dr. H. II.
McCallon, vice-president; Miss
Edith Starbuck, secretary and
treasurer. The association,
which has heretofore been using a
large private residence for a
hospital, now has the stock fully
subscribed for a new building,
which will have all modern hos
pital conveniences and will cost
not less than $10,000. The plans
for this structure were submitted
and approved at the stockholders'
meeting, and bids for its con
struction will be called for as
soon as the specifications have
