At first there were only two rooms in which we could accommodate those who wished to remain overnight, but as my children have married oft three more have become available. That leaves me alone with a niece to look after the lnu. while my husband still devotes himself to the farm. One of the boys took a course at the agricultural college of Cornell uni versity, and the other could have done that also if he hadn't preferred the Iustltute of Technology In Ilos- tou. As soon us he finished there lust summer be took a job that was wait ing for film, and then he got married. His specialty Is electricity, and ho wired our house and put in electric- bells almost two years ago. That It one of the conveniences we would nev er have had If we hadn't opened the Inn. We don't pretend to give our visit ors niiytlraig fancy to eat just the things raised on the farm well cooked ud served. My niece has studied do mestic .science, so she knows how to cook by the new methods, while 1 can do about us well as the next one with my old recipes. You mustn't think we have had things all our own way. Several farm ers who live near I he road have put out the lnu sign, and some of then bare a good business, but ns wo be gan first and have kept our place up to the standard the visitors have con tinued to stop with us instead of go ing to neighboring Inns. Besides, we haven't tried to change our house very much, only to freshen It up and make i It more comfortable. I have found that when" they "come to the couutry Is good country eating. Easily Adjustable Shelves. The Illustration shows an excellent way of supporting shelves.
