The management of the Dallas Free Library, after having arranged for a goodly list of magazines and reference material for the reading table, has been considerably annoyed by soma unknown parties who persist In carry ing magazines (and books when they can get them ) away from the library in the absence of the librarian. Thiev ing of this sort if continued, will result In tho closing of the reading room at all hours except the regular time when the librarian Is there. These thefts are probably actuated by no vicious motive and may bo committed thoughtlessly, but whoever may have been guilty of them should at least return the tnagazinos and avoid com mitting the offense again, as he will not profit by It, and may only be the cause of depriving all of the patrons of the reading room of many of the privileges that they now enjoy.
