along been under oath to support.

phatically pronounced the speciman
to be the forefoot of a bear with the
tiast joints bovered in order to de­
tach the claws with tho hide. Tbie
seems to be tho most, plausible
theory as it is keown that an old
hunter aud trapper made the cabin
his headquarters this spring.
