The wedding was a quiet one only Mr. and Mrs. Van Allison and members of Kev. Klkins’ fam ily witnessing the ceremony. Mr. Groff is one of the genial and popular salesmen in the Griff in & Veatch hardware store in this city and is a very exemplary young man, who enjoys the con fidence and esteem of a wide cir cle of friends. The bride is the eldest daughter of Robert W . Veatch, who resides on a nice fruit farm four miles east of this city, and is a charming and very esti mable young lady who ha* a wide circle of friends in this community. They will reside in west Cottage Grove and the Leader joins in ex tending congratulations and best wishes. * O L IN -M IL L K R — At the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Deceased was born November 19, 1827, near Wellsville, Ohio, lie was married to Lizzie Wood Feb. 15, 1887 and came to Oregon iu 1.891 residing at Junction 4 years, moving then to Sagiiiaw where he resided ]2 years.
