Protzm an, the genial audi tor of the O. & S. li. railroad com pan y , returned to Cottage ('.rove la st W ednesday from a seven weeks visit to his old home at M organtown, W est V irginia. Mr. Protzm an was accom panied by his son Charles, who rem ained with his grandparents in M organtown, in order to take advantage of the splendid educational advantages in th a t city. Mr. Protzm an also visited P itts burg and other Pennsylvania points of interest and returned home by way of Berkeley, California, where he visited with a brother. Eleven years have elapsed since Mr. Protzm an left the east and he says he noted a wonderful growth and development iu the cities of" his home state in that period of time. H e says buildings th a t for merly appeared as sky scrapers to him in M organtown and Pittsburg are now com pletely overshadowed by more stately neighbors. He enjoyed his trip very m uch and says progress and general advance m ent seems to be characteristic of the whole country from ocean to ocean.
