People hnvc serious apprehen sio is of trusts nwl the consolida tion of cnpif.il in every line of busi ness, in general. A meat per cent of this apprehension is without foundation. Trusts fail, syndicates jio to pieces, railroad corporations, with all their millions are fre- quentlv thrown into lhe hands of receivers. Why? Because even with united capital men- fail, and their pet schemes and plans are not a success. People who are so abusive in the natter of trusts and corporations should remember that trusts and corporations make their money when tliey uo make it, ex actly the same way that smaller concerns make their money by direct, successful competition, to the detriment of another like con cern, the capital of which by failing to down competition is submerged into individual capital again. It does not necessaraily mean that it shall control all the trade in any given line. Theie may be others, and w hen there are others, there is competition. Competition is the back bone of this or any other com mercial country. This country will never go to pieces, Bryan ora tory We Sell What the People Want. Vl'OU'lll'll Full. .1. II.
