Clinic staff work closely with the HIV Alliance Case Manager to coordinate patient care, preauthorize treatment, and arrange for transporta- tion needs. The LCC Dental Clinic, located at 2460 Willamette Ave. in Eugene, provides the public with patient-cen- tered, comprehensive, pre- ventive and therapeutic dental care, while at the same time providing practi- cal, educational experienc- es for Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting students. The clinic is open to the general public with empha- sis on adult patients who have not had regular pre- ventive dental care. The Health Resources and Services Administra- tion’s Ryan White HIV/ AIDS Program provides a comprehensive system of HIV primary medical care, essential support ser- vices, and medications for low-income people with HIV. The program funds grants to states, cities, counties, and local commu- nity-based organizations to provide care and treatment services to people with HIV to improve health outcomes and reduce HIV transmission among hard- to-reach populations. After activating the police car’s overhead lights, the vehicle sped off. The vehi- cle is connected to a subject who is known to elude po- lice contact. Oct. 1 • An officer was dis- patched to Northwest Community Credit Union for a found counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was lo- cated in a cash deposit from a business in Douglas County. There are current- ly no suspects mentioned or known in this incident. The bill had a serial num- ber of B5537657 and was forwarded to the US Secret Service. Oct. 3 • An individual was cited in lieu of custody for theft of a Walmart shopping cart. Oct. 4 • An officer responded to a call of criminal mischief by means of a broken rear window to a vehicle by an unknown person. The own- er stated that a lug wrench lying in the back cargo area of his damaged SUV was not his and believed it may have been used to break the rear window. Damage to the vehicle was estimated around $500. No suspects were identified in the case. • An officer responded to Carl’s Jr. located at 1565 Gateway Blvd for a report of criminal mischief. An employee advised he arrived for his shift and observed a window on the north side of the building was broken. The employee located a rock on the floor near the broken window and estimated the value of the broken window at $400. No suspects were identified in the case.
