COTTAGE GROVE SENTINEL | MARCH 25, 2021 | 7A March Students of the Month ACADEMY FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION (ACE) – VIOLET PETERS Th e Academy for Character Educa- tion recognizes Violet Peters. Violet has worked hard this year and has grown a lot. She pays attention in class, completes all in-class activities and assignments, and completes her homework carefully, with quality in mind. She has worked hard in both language arts and math, working to- wards mastery of the phonograms and math concepts. She uses study time wisely and oft en completes several assignments during that time. Vio- let’s teacher admires her work ethic, kindness, and perseverance. Violet demonstrates many positive charac- ter traits and is a friend to all. Raylin Circle Cottage Grove Sentinel Th e London School Student of the Month is Raylin Circle. Raylin is in Mrs. Christian- son’s KG/1st Class. She has fabulous attendance is an avid participant in class. She is kind, thoughtful and caring to classmates. Cloe shows up to class every day with her camera on and ready to learn. She sets goals for herself and works hard to meet them. Bringing an energy to class each day, Cloe ignites entertaining con- versation and learning. Her energetic personality, great story telling, and leadership skills are evident as she stands up for others and participates in class. We’re so glad Cloe is a part of Lincoln Middle School! Marley always enters the classroom with a smile, is thoughtful and polite in her words and actions, and is a great help to herself and her classmates. Morgan is a hardworking and dedicated student and consistently pro- duces high quality work for her High School and College courses. Morgan is an honors student, actively participates in band, and is a student athlete. When we opened for in-person learning, you jumped on the chance to come into the building and since then, you have blossomed! You show compassion and patience to all your classmates and we appreciate all that you do. Future Goals: I want to be a real estate agent or an interior designer – I like designing things and real estate agents can make a lot of money. Plus, it just seems kind of fun. I may also want to be a zoologist. I’ve always enjoyed animals – playing with them and learning about them and getting to see the diff erent kinds of ani- mals and what makes them special. Additionally, she is good at asking for helping, par- ticipating in class, and keep- ing focused on her work. She encourages her peers to stay focused on their work too. She has taken on extra responsibil- ities with ASB and student gov- ernment as President, which is a job that has previously only been off ered to Juniors and Se- niors. Goals: Faith has always had a dream to be a lawyer. She wants to get her PhD in law. She wants to go to Stanford University or else stay close to home.
