COTTAGE GROVE SENTINEL | MARCH 12, 2020 | 3A Cottage Grove Community Foundation announces grant recipients The Cottage Grove Community Foundation (CGCF) has announced its Grant Award recipi- ents for 2020 and that 12 nonprofit organizations were selected as commu- nity grant recipients for a total of $11,186 and two unsolicited grants for $4,500. Funding for the grants is made possible through donations from the Community Foundation Permanent Endowment Fund, the Cottage Grove Green Earth Advised Expendable Fund, Be- lieve in Angels Advised Subfund, Veatch Advised Fund, Harrison/Full- er Advised Expendable Fund, Carlton Woodard Advised Fund, Women’s & Children’s Fund, and Frank & Pamela Simpson Advised Fund. The Cottage Grove Community Founda- tion will celebrate with these nonprofit organi- zations at a Community Grant Awards ceremony Tuesday, March 17, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Shepherd Room of the Community Center. The Cottage Grove Community Foundation is a public nonprofit or- ganization to help im- prove the quality of life for residents of the City of Cottage Grove and surrounding communi- ties. For the first time last week, more new cases were reported outside of China than inside, according to the World Health Organization.
