Concerts begin at 6:30pm. Th is month’s concert line-up July 4 - Fret Logic (Multi-Genres) Th ree Lead Guitarists, Bassist, and a Drummer. All are singers and all are highly sought aft er sidemen and who, when they have the time, get out and do their own thing. Th e band is versed in all styles of music. You name it, they have played it. Heavy Rock, Folk, Country, Jazz, Blues and Reggae. Th ey look forward to playing for you the many styles of American music that has helped make this country so great. Come out and celebrate 4th of July with us. Garry Meziere: lead guitar is the equal of anything you will ever hear. He is equally comfortable with ringing, bell-like blues leads, with soaring rock solos, and tasty jazz improvisation. Jerry Zybach: Guitar and vocals, is an award winning blues artist known throughout the US and Europe for his soulful slide, rhythm/lead guitar, and powerful vocals. Stan Welsh: As a maturing working musician based in Atlanta, Stan toured with various groups to New York, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, and throughout the South and East coast. One of his most recent gigs was touring guitarist with Austin, Texas blues great W.C Clark, who played with and wrote songs for Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Tex, and many others. Bill Foss: Bill’s tasteful bass playing and soulful vocals made him a favorite with a Blues and R&B bands in New England area. Th rough this time he was also a session player at Noel Paul Stookey’s NeWorld Studio. Foss moved to the Pacifi c Northwest in 2011 and has been working steadily throughout the region with Garry Meziere, Ellen Whyte, Creighton Lindsay, Orvil Ivie and a many more. GT Albright: Drummer, singer, songwriter, and inventor, Albright has been involved in the music business for over four decades. He began his professional music career in the suburbs of Philadelphia in the late 1960s and at the age of 19 he began touring the east coast and recording. July 11 - Bradly Shepherd’s Perfect Flavor (Eclectic Covers & More) Perfect Flavor is led by Cottage Grove native, singer, song writer and guitarist Bradly Shepherd. Eclectic in nature with some of his infl uences to follow: Bruno Mars, Blake Shelton, Jason Mraz, Hall & Oats, Steve Miller Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hootie and the Blowfi sh, Led Zeppelin, Sting. July 18 - Cowboy Cadillac (Country Rock) Band Members: Richie Stiles - Lead Vocalist, Telecaster Guitar, Mandolin Dave Clark – Lead Guitarist, Steel Guitar, Banjo, Dobro Greg Johnson - Percussionist Ron Letsom – Bass Guitar Willamette Valley’s only Countryfi ed Group with an Edge!!....Hot and Smokin’ Progressive Country Rock!!.....Where Bakersfi eld meets Nashville!!..... …..Th e show this group brings to the stage is unmatched anywhere else” PERIOD”. Th eir song list includes all the crowd favorites along with hits that other bands won’t even dare to attempt….. …..Th eir music balances between studio-slick and devil-may-care-sloppiness, with equal parts Southern Rock, Louisiana Swamp Rock with a Modern Country Swagger….. …..Th is is real spit and sawdust Country Rock with tremendously gritty vocals and scything guitars. Some say a little bit Country and a little bit Rock & Roll…..but defi nitely Country with an Edge!!!! July 25 – Humble George Humble George is a quartet that plays a unique style of “Sarcastic Jazz”, a humorous approach to playing music best described as a subtle meld of Jazz, Blues and Country from the 1920’s and everything in between. Th e Main Street Chili Cook Off along with KNND’s Rock, Roll N’ Rumble will fi ll the streets of Historic Downtown on July 28, 2018. We hope you’ll join us and enter your favorite chili against your friends and neighbors in this year’s cook off ! We’re pleased to hold this event in conjunction with KNND’s Rock, Roll N’ Rumble and look forward to a big crowd! Cook your chili on-site or cook it at home. Either way we want you to enjoy an aft ernoon of fun! Th is is how it works · Tasting kits are sold at the information booth. · Each kit includes three tasting cups, one voting ticket, spoon, napkin, and trinkets from sponsors · Th ose who purchase the kits will present a tasting cup for a taste of chili at the chili booth(s) of their choice. · Th e public must present an unused tasting cup for each taste. · Tasting cups are not allowed to be reused. · For every three tastes, the public gets one vote for their favorite. Th e more tasting kits purchased, the more chili gets tasted, and the more votes get cast! · Chili is also collected for judging by a panel of judges. · Contestants are encouraged to provide “extras” to serve with the chili (i.e. cheese, onions, crackers, etc.) · Contestants are encouraged to decorate as there will be judging for Most Festive booth in addition to awards for Judges Choice, and People’s Choice. Awards are presented at the end of the day. We encourage churches, restaurants, fi nancial institutions, and any other groups to fi nd your favorite recipe and challenge your peers to a cook-off ! Start thinking now about how you will decorate your booth for a chance at the Most Festive Booth award in addition to Judges Choice and People’s Choice Awards. So pull out your recipes and form your teams. We need your CHILI and those secret ingredients that make this event a success! Entry forms are available at the Visitor Center, 700 E.
