Konnie Memorial Park is a 145-acre property with a popu- lar boat ramp and day-use area near Swisshome along Lake Creek at the confl uence of the Siuslaw River. In recent months, park neigh- bors have shared concerns about security issues and illegal use of the park. Lane County Parks said it will work to establish a volunteer park host who will live on-site to improve security and provide minor maintenance. The lease agreement does not include a fi nancial agree- ment between Lane County and ODFW. It does allow Lane County to charge a parking fee consistent with other County- operated parks and to make im- provements to the property.
