2C COTTAGE GROVE SENTINEL November 25, 2015 What I'm Thankful for.... Brought to you by local 5th grade students Dorena I am thankful for the military. For all the active soldiers in war that are on many tours and fi ght for us. I am thankful for the military because they keep terrorists out of our country. Ashton Miller I am thankful for my family. They never lie to me. They're always nice to me. We lost my cousin Justin Simons last year on December 9th 2014 and I re- ally miss him. I love my family and they love me. Tessa Menke I am thankful for my family and friends. They make my ev- eryday life easier. They help me when I am in need. They love me and I love them, too. They make me feel special. I am thankful for having a roof over my head. It helps keep me dry. It also keeps me warm. It's nice to know someone cares enough to keep a roof over my head. That is what I'm thankful for. Alexis Christie I am thankful for my family. They keep me company and they are nice to me. They are always there for me. Zen Wemple I am thankful for the military. I am glad that we have great soldiers that are watching over our country. I am thankful that they don't shy away from fi ghts. I am thankful that my dad and grandpa served in the military. Braeden Mckenzie I am thankful for my family. They're very special to me be- cause they think I'm special and they care for me. They give me food and a home. I'm thankful to have a family that loves me. Matthew Nielsen I am thankful for my pets. I feed them, I play with them, and I wash their litter box. I go on walks with them. They are very great pets. I love them a lot. They're nice to me and that's why I'm thankful for them. They're the best pets I ever had. Kalee Walter Latham I am thankful for a lot of things, like my family and the army surving my contrey. I am also thankful lots of little things like my video games you tube and toys. I am also thankful for tings I am fortunate to get like food, a home, water and cloths. I am also thankful for my pets my dog, my turdle and my cat. I am also thankful for my every day convences like having a phone, movies and TV that is just a short list of things I am thankful for. Javin Hemenway I am thankful for my grandmas because they support me by playing games with me and gives me food and water. I am thankful for the things my parents give me like my phone and my clothes. I am thankful for my pets. They protect me and they help me pick up toys of mine. I am thankful for my teachers. They help me do my work. They take their time to teach me. I am thankful for my family. They take their time to protect me and feed me. I am thankful for my house because it keeps me safe from danger and it gives me a roof. Jacob Hollowell I am thankful for my house, family and friends. I’m thank- ful for my food, my bed and my clothes. I’m thankful for my school. I’m so so so glad that I have all this stuff, people think all this stuff is just part of live, but it’s not. It’s richer actually it’s more then richer. If you have all this stuff you’re a billion air. If you want more your crazy you have everthing you can possibley have. Some people don’t have eneything. If you want you can give them a bed, school clothes, food, even a place to sleep at nigh, so be thankful for what you have because you have everything. The End. Happy thanksgiving. Grace Encinas I am thankful for my little sister my little brother and the Bettey Crokers cookbook. What I will be doing for thanksgiving is go- ing to my ant Jennies house in Portland I have a plan on drink- ing a hole entire bottle of spar- kling apple scider and watching my little pony a questerya girls rainbow rocks. Everybody also falling asleep and me stay- ing up till three o’clock in the morning and getting caut by one of the adults. Eireann Woods I am thankful for my two dogs, my two cats, my family and my friends. Also all the schools, the teachers, the parents, all the learning and all the supplies. Other ones are happiness, food, water, animals, books, monies, oh and all the homes to keep us safe, fi rst aid kits, churches, kindness, peacefulness, world peace, god, jesus, space, planet earth, and world history, sci- ence, the army, the navy, the world plants and most impor- tant the universe! Ashton D. I am thankful for my family because they help me and there always there for me. I am also thankful for my friends they chear me up when I’m sad and they help me when your not getting something in class. I am thankful for a lot of things another one is I am very thank- ful for my dogs. Everyday when I get home from school they always make me happy. When I am sad they come lay with me. I play games with them also. I am thankful for lots of things. Jaden Owens I am thankful for all the teach- ers for helping me learn hard work Mr Bowers my fi rst Latham teacher good P.E. teacher good school good kids I made lots of friends on the fi rst day. Justin Lemon I am thankful for a home with a lot of things I need, includ- ing food, drink, a bed, and things that I don’t need, but I want them. I am thankful for music, because if there was no music, there would be no point in living. Friends are also an important part of my life. They comfort me when I’m down, and they are really fun to hang with. I like the ability to choose how I look, and I love going to school. But most importantly, I am thankful for being able to live. Maia Wilhour I am thankful for my friends Javin, Grace, Logan Z., and my friends on the bus. I’m grateful for my family, and every thing I have. I’m thankful that my family is nice and my friends are awesome. Justice I am thankful for having friends and family beaing able to play soccer basketball and football. I am thankful for learning about space. I am also thankful for snow snowbords, also clotes and shoes. Also animals and nature. Brennen Murphy I am thankful for GOD! He gave me a bed, a family, food and love. He gave me wormth, pets, toys and MW! Tristan Kane I am thankful for a family, clothes, food, love, siblings, the most thing I am thank full for is shelter. I love me family because they love and care for me. Clothes keep me warm. I love food because it keeps me from dieing love keeps me happey and calm. I love my brother if I didn’t have him I would go crazy. I love shelter because it keeps me dry, worm, comfortable, water and a bed. Robert Bohemia I am thankful for my Mom because she gets me every morning and she takes care of me. My Dad takes care of me too and my Grandma lets me stay the night with her. I'm am also thankful because they take me to places and my family celebrates the holidays. I am thankful because I know some kids don't go to school and don't have food, don't have a house, don't go to the mall, don't have clothing, don'y have toys, don't have a bed, don't have a pillow, don't have rooms, and don't have money, and I have all this stuff my parents have all this stuff to. I am thankful for my brother because when I am not feeling well he is always right there beside me. I am thankful for my 4 cats because they cuddle with me and they purr. Brianna Migas I am thankful for these 11 things because: 1. Family because they support you 2. Frendship because even though friends are annoying they are always there. 3. The shower cause I have the best thought there. 4. Books because they take you places you will probably never go. 5. School because there are people and knolage. 6. A warm bed because they From Our Family to Yours at Thanksgiving As we gather around with family and friends this holiday, we offer up thanks for the many blessings that make life meaningful. Hilidays because they come with traditions. 10. Music because I love to sing. 11. Water because when I swim I feel like I'm fl ying. These are all of the funny things that I am thankful for. Charlotte K. Hawks I am thankful for my Mom and Grandma that take me to school. And my bus driver that takes me home. And my Dad that alwas is waiting for me at the bus stop. I am thankful that my Mom and Dad have enough money for me to go to school. I am also thankful for a warm bed to sleep in at night. And that is what I am thankful for. I am thankful for teachers who teach me social studies, science, math, and language arts. I am thankful for my school which holds these wonderful teachers. I am thankful for the earth that holds all of these wonderful things. Mia Hunt I am thnkful for my family and the food they give me. I love how much my family cares for me. I love my Mom get's me food and water, shes always there for me. I love how my Mom pays bills for me to go to school. Usually when I ask for something she will try to get it if not she will get it. On my birthday or on Christmas. I am very thankful for my grand- parents for how they watch me if my Mom is at work so I am thankful for my family and the wonderful things my grandpa and grandma and of couse my lovely Mom. The food I get to eat, school, warm clothes, a com- puter, good friends, a heater in my room, a phone, car, a nice place to live in where the people are happy, church/Bible, christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. Raymond Brodsby I am thankful for the home that I have. The wonderful family I have and the things that I do everyday. The stores that we have. The great people that we have in our life. The schools we have in are wonderful state that we live in. Some country's don't have schools. The laws that the president made for us. Also for the people that help us in life.
