LORANE COUNTRY NEWS News and notes from our neighbor to the north outh Lane County Fire and Res- cue personnel were called to a report of a structure fi re at 42 Scott Lane in Creswell at 6 p.m. on Friday. Crews arrived to fi nd smoke coming from the residence and the occupant of the home in the front yard. They say that, as they approached, the occupant ran back into the burning home and barricaded himself in a rear room.
