Mrs. E F. Booth, mother of Rev. J. L. Beatly, our new M. E. min ister, arrived here Saturday after noon from Profitstown, Illi nois, and will probably locate with us. She is accompanied by her Grandson, Master Vaunt Beatty. J. T. Nosier returned from Rose burg Saturday bringing in Mrs. Nos ier, who has been out in the valley visiting, and also her mother, Grandma Miller, who came down to visit old friends and acquain tances, she having lived here many years in an early day, all of whom will be delig hted to see her.
