Galloway wits called to his old home, Aledo, 111., Sunday, by a tel egram telling of .the severe illness of his mother, who sustained a fractured hip in a fall, and owing to her advanced' age, 81 years, is not expected to recover. Fay loft Monday morning for a visit with her daughter at Fletcher, Ida. Mrs. Fay and daughter, Miss Edith, are making preparations to move in about two weeks to Seattle, Wash. Preparations are being made to entertain a large number of delegates. It is expected that a num ber of prominent speakers will be present, aicong them President Hcman of Willamette University, Dr. Powell of Caldwell, Ida., Dr. Gillilan, and probably Bishop Smith, who will be coming in for the conference at Joseph, will stop pff here and address the convention.
