Dr. and Mrs. Moore are enthua laatlc over the coming next Sunday of Bishop Paddock, as they always looked forward to his periodical visits to La Grande with pleasant anticipation. They declare one can not attend Bishop Paddock's service without going away much refreshed and desiring to be more like the characters in the beautiful Bible story he usually relates. R. L. Day of the Riley & Day livery found the suit case advertised by E. A, Wortnvan end returned it to Us owner. Another proof of the efficacy of our little Want ads was the case of the valuable sheep dog lost by Jess Fareld, who works for J. H. Dobbin. The dog returned to camp, having probably heard of the ad, and Mr. Dobbin came in great haste to order the ad out as his place was being overrun with dogs, fully a score being brought there In hope of the offered reward. SHOOTING MATCH. There will be a shooting match Saturday with geee for prizes. R. T.
