Mrs. Harrison Wolfe of Middle Valley was bitten by a dog one day last week and has been quite ill since, at one time her life being despaired of, but she is now improving. Planing Mill Closed. Owing to foreclosure of mortgage held by V. M. Gregg, the Davis Plan ing mill was turned over to Attorney J. A. Burleigh, Monday, who placed V. I. Cronin in charge wiUi orders to pile all lumber and straighten up the yard for Invoice. The mortgage held by Gregg 'covers everything, mill, lumber.' timber, account, etc., and the lumber haulers and saw mill men are in quite a sweat as to where their claims come in.
