From there they go to Tortland. The Sunbeam chorus of 125 children were given a treat of candy, pop corn and nuts at . the church Fiiday night. Monday a pho tograph of the chorus wa3 taken. A delightful Washington party was given at the home of Mrs. Maggie Bloom, Frliay eening, her daugh ter, Miss Alta Davis, and Miss Vic toria Haas be'ng hostesses to a num ber of friends. 'The rooms were dec jra'.ei prett ly wi.h the National col ors, and ai intricate maze of cob webs which the guests spent a Jolly evening in unwinding. The first stop In the labyrinth brought them to the whistling post; here each one was given a dry cracker to eat and a prUe was glvei the one who could then whls'.le most melodiously. At the second stop in the tangled web they found red hatchets which gave them partners in a Mother Goose rhyming contest. At the next stop there was an amusing postal card drawing and the fourth pause was a flower game. The final unwinding divulged Droverbs cut In two and the matching of these gave partners for a delicious luncheon of sandwiches, chocolate, o'lves. Ice cream and cake. The place cards were pictures of Washington. Those present were: mIhb Van tut Thomas. Katherlne Kay, Joyce Cra'g, Eunice Bennett, Eu'a Forsythe, Laura and Victoria Haai. Alta Davis; Messrs.
