Milligan: tho leading idea of his remarks was, that no ono can do anything better in this world than to make himself as humane, in telligent and charitable) as his nature will allow, and that charity toward others and i due regard for oth er's welfare foims an important part of the Christian creed. He wa3 followed by Rev. E. C. Holden, President of the Association, followed in a few well-chosen remarks, relativo to the past and probable future of tho useful association ho has been so long con nected with. The gratifying stato- montvas made that tho institution was out of debt, was.iu a live, healthy condition, and looked forward to new endeavors in Christian work that would fittingly illustrate that theirs was not so much an idlo precept as au active duty.
