S IUSLAW TO BEGIN LEAGUE AFTER ‘C ROSSOVER ’ B Y N ED H ICKSON Siuslaw News After what has been a busy non-league season heading into the beginning of Sky-Em League play next week, the Lady Vikings will wrap up pre-season play today during the annual Sky- Em/Skyline Crossover Tournament today at Mazama High School in Klamath Falls. The official schedule has been in flux since Wednesday of last week, when tournament coordi- nators had Siuslaw scheduled to play Phoenix High School tomorrow, according to the tour- nament website as well as the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) website. That apparently changed as of Thursday night, with Sunday's match-up between Siuslaw and Phoenix moved to today at 12:30 p.m. Last night, Siuslaw took on North Valley (4-7), after press deadlines, in hopes of improving the Lady Vikings’ record to 5-8. Results from that game and today's game against Phoenix will be available in Wednesday's edition. Friday, Siuslaw will officially kick off league play against Cottage Grove (5-6) at Glenn Butler Court.
