This meeting will be a great place to learn more about the groups’ guiding forest management plan and provide valuable feed- back about its proposal, which includes thinning and restoration activities in stands of trees and adjacent streams on BLM lands to support the restoration of late-successional complex stands spotted owl habitat. For anyone who wants to have a voice in managing public lands, this is a great place to be. People are invited to attend the meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Big Bear Camp in Walton, 89480 Nelson Mountain Road.
