It takes a community to do this. Without com- munity support, we wouldn’t do this today.” Volunteers will be needed to help with building the concession facili- ties, as well as relocating the softball fields. Miller plans on beginning con- struction in February, and hopes that it will not interfere with current sports programs that use the park. “It’s going to be a little bit of a juggling act so people have places to play,” he said.
