Allen is the daughter of Peggy and Burleigh Allen of Baker City; Kerner is the son of Dr. Stephen and Beth Kerner of Florence. The bride graduated from high school in Boise, Idaho; the groom graduated from Siuslaw High School in 2011. Both are graduates of Western Oregon University in June 2015. The bride has a degree in ASL and has returned to school to pursue her master’s degree in early childhood education, with a focus on speech needs. The groom has a degree in sociology with a focus on history. He works for the Army National Guard. School Garden to conduct raffle The Siuslaw School Garden provides area youth an impor- tant opportunity to build a connection with their food from seed to table.
