The Hank Shreve Band will open the evening concert at 9 p.m., followed by Salgado in an evening that will bring Salgado full-circle as the Florence Events Center, 715 Quince St., cele- brates its 20th anniversary. Over his renowned blues career, Salgado has per- formed with Steve Miller, Carlos Santana and was the inspiration behind John Belushi’s creation of the Blues Brothers characters in the late 1970s. There was also a promotion- al poster from a live vaudeville show, “Paul Bunyon and the Lumberjacks,” which pointed out that dancing was free.
