SIUSLAW NEWS ❚ WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2016 Salvation Army’s ‘Make a Difference Monday’ Nov. 14 The Salvation Army in western Lane County will be hosting Make a Difference Monday events on Nov. 14 at three local area restaurants. That Monday morning, Darling’s Marina and Resort in Dunes City will be serving a breakfast, Pop’s Smokehouse and Barbecue in Mapleton will be serving a lunch and the Siuslaw Riverside Restaurant in Florence will be serving a dinner. Each meal will be served for $15 and includes a non-alco- holic beverage. Everyone is encouraged to bring cans of food for the local food pantries in Mapleton and Florence.
