Showtime for the Nov. 18 concert is 7 p.m., and the Nov. 19 concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. The limited unreserved seats are located in the orches- tra seating area and will go on sale at the Florence Events Center box office on Monday, Oct. 24, at 9 a.m. Tickets are $49 and only available at the box office at 715 Quince St. For more information, call 541-997-1994. For Siuslaw Middle School, Camryn Rose was nominated by the teachers at the school. “Camryn is kind to fellow students, gregarious and outgo- ing, and a strong academic and athletic student,” said SMS sci- ence teacher Mrs. Hawke. “Last year, Camryn made a superior effort to learn about her natural environment and joined the Knowles Creek STREAM Team Crew for 9 weeks and was a leader among her group.” Mrs. Roach, another teacher at SMS, said, “She loves books and wants to become a scientist someday, like a meteorologist. She participates, is kind to her classmates and turns in high quality work.” Rose is a seventh-grader at Siuslaw Middle School. For Siuslaw High School, senior Claire Waggoner was nominated by teachers includ- ing school counselor Mr. Moser, who said, “Claire Waggoner is one of those stu- dents you know is destined for great things.
