He was sentenced to seven days in Florence City Jail and must pay $100 in fines. Michael Allen Tanner pleaded no contest to assault. He was sentenced to four days in Florence City Jail and must report to Emergence Addiction and Mental Health Services. He must pay $525 in fines and not contact or be in or about the residence or place of employment of the victim. EDITOR@ THESIUSLAWNEWS.COM Graveside services and inter- ment was held Thursday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. at the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, Calif., with military h o n o r s under the auspices of the U.S. Donald Hymer Navy. Donald B. Hymer was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Napa, Calif., to Dee Roya (George) and Margaret Mildred (Stephenson) Hymer. He was raised and edu- cated there. Don joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 and served in Guam and the Pacific Campaign until 1947. During his service he was injured in action. Following his return home, Don attended college at Harvard Law School and addi- tional technical institutes. He worked for the U.S. govern- ment in Civil Service for more than 35 years. Don also served as a civil court judge in Montana. He was a dedicated member of the Disabled American Veterans, was a coach for Pop Warner Football, a deacon at the Episcopal Church, a mem- ber of the Junior Horseman Association, a member of Rotary and a delegate at the Democratic Convention. Don met and married Norma Gagnon in 1949. Together they raised a family while he worked in several different locations including California, Kansas, Alabama, Utah, Montana and then Oregon for their retirement years. Norma preceded him in death in 2009. He was married to Vicki Wingert in 2010 and together they enjoyed retired life on the Oregon coast. Among his personal interests he enjoyed wood carving, golf- ing, fishing, gardening and traveling. He was preceded in death by a son, Brett Dee Hymer; grand- daughter Zzara Ehrhar; broth- ers and sisters, Bud Hymer, Evelyn Tyler Hymer, George Hymer, Edith Hymer Pieratt and Vicki Hymer White. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Hymer; his children: Jerry Lee and wife Peggy Larghi, of Napa, Calif., Dawn and husband Kerry Ward, of Havre, Mont., Craig R. and wife Donna Hymer, of Coos Bay, Ore., Margaret and hus- band Larry Bottchen, of House Springs, Mo.; his sister Phyllis and husband, Jerry Gruber, of Bakersfield, Calif.; his brother Kenneth and wife Kathy, of Springfield, Ore.; and many grandchildren, great-grand- children and great-great- grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Tax ID 23-7173303 CYAN MAGENTA YELLOW BLACK BOLLA —Harold “Hal” Bolla Jr., 88, of Florence, passed away Oct. 7, 2016, at the Bay A r e a Hospital in Coos Bay, Ore., of con- gestive heart failure. Hal was Harold Bolla the son of Harold Bolla Sr. and Ruth Blackwell Bolla. He was born March 6, 1928, in San Francisco, Calif. Hal and Nancy had four chil- dren, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom are still alive, except their two sons. The celebration of life for Hal’s family and friends is being held today at Cattlemen’s Restaurant in Montgomery Village Shopping Center, 2400 Midway Dr., in Santa Rosa, Calif., at 12:30 p.m. Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements in Oregon. HYMER—Donald Beal Hymer, 89, of Florence, died Oct. 5, 2016, following a brief illness. Viewing was held Oct. 10 at Dunes Memorial Chapel in Reedsport.
