Oregon voters must be registered by Oct. 18 The deadline to register as a voter in the November elec- tion is Tuesday, Oct. 18. Lane County voters can register or confirm their reg- istration is current by visiting www.oregonvotes.org. The website, maintained by the Oregon Secretary of State’s Office, makes regis- tering and updating voter reg- istrations simple. “The website is a great tool for voters who want to con- firm their registration status before the deadline,” said County Clerk Cheryl Betschart. “It is easy, fast and provides a nearly immediate update to our Lane County voter records.” To check your voter regis- tration status at ore- gonvotes.org: Select the “Voter Registration” option and click on “Check or Update Your Registration.” Voters can search for their registration information by name and birthdate.
