You live it. “In my proclamation in September, I urged citizens to increase their awareness of this very serious problem for our society as a whole, and especially for the children in the families involved, and to express their support for ending domestic violence. I was very proud to proclaim October as ‘Domestic Violence Awareness Month’ and I thank all of the sponsors of this event for their support.” — J OE H ENRY M AYOR OF F LORENCE “It is well established that people find domestic violence uncom- fortable to talk about, yet it is so prevalent. If you want to solve a problem, you have to define it. It is a wonderful thing that our city acknowledges the impact this issue has on our citizens. It makes it easier for people to report and get help, and know they are support- ed by the greater community.” — D AVID W IEGAN E XECUTIVE D IRECTOR , S IUSLAW O UTREACH S ERVICES Sue Gilday Insurance Agcy Inc Sue Gilday, Agent 1275 Rhododendron Drive Florence, OR 97439 Bus: 541-997-7161 I’m here to help life go right ™ – so you can enjoy it, while I help protect it.
